uses the services of United Parcel Service (UPS) as our exclusive
Shipper. All UPS shipping services are available to our customers
in the contiguous 48 states. Because we are located in Austin, Texas,
UPS provides Ground Service within 5 business days to all points
within the contiguous 48 States. If you choose not to use Ground
Service (the most affordable but slowest
service), we recommend that you carefully compare the
various levels of Expedited Services offered, as cost
may vary greatly. Please note that shipping to Alaska and Hawaii is
available via Expedited Service only (no Ground shipping
available).
UPS delivers only
to physical addresses. UPS does not deliver to Post Office boxes.
To expedite service, make sure that the shipping address you provide
is both current and complete. For business addresses, we recommend
that you include the business name, the recipient’s full
name and title, as well as other address particulars, such as Department,
Building, Floor, Suite, Apt, etc. It is always beneficial to include
the recipient’s day phone number.
International
Shipments: Austinuts does not use UPS
for international deliveries, as most countries have specific
requirements for clearance of food products
through customs. If you wish to ship our products overseas, we
recommend that you arrange for our products to be shipped to your
address in the U.S., where you can mail them to their final destination
via the shipper of your choice.

via Customer’s
Preferred Commercial Carriers:
Businesses and individuals who have an established account with any
commercial shipper (i.e., UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc.) may choose to use
such shipper for the delivery of our merchandise. You must contact
us directly by phone, fax or email to arrange for such deliveries.
Do not complete your order on-line. Austinuts will charge for
packaging and handling for all such orders.
Gift Cards:
Do not forget to personalize your order with a customized enclosure card,
which we will attach to your gift.
Order
Processing Time
Once we receive your Order, we will review and confirm the availability of all of your product selections. We will notify you by email as soon as your Order is processed, and will provide you with a confirmation number that you may use to track the scheduled delivery of your Order.
Your Order will be processed and shipped as quickly as possible. Due to the high volume of Orders we receive during certain times of the year, please consult the following guidelines to ensue prompt and timely delivery.
January – October – All Orders received during this time will usually be shipped the next business day. Orders for 10 or more gift items and/or Orders that require shipments to multiple locations may take between 3 – 5 business days to process. All Orders are processed in the order in which we receive them. If we anticipate a delay in processing your Order beyond the time guideline specified, we will contact you within one business day of our receipt of your Order.
Holiday Season - November & December – At Austinuts we are committed to fulfilling your Order with only the freshest products. We do this by minimizing the time between roasting and shipping. During the Holiday Season we receive a high volume of Orders and inquiries from our retail, wholesale and web-based customers. In order to ensure that the freshest products are delivered in a timely manner, we encourage you to place your Holiday and gift Orders as early as possible, and that you provide us with a specific shipment date. The earlier you place your Order, the more likely it is that we can honor your specific request.
For Orders up to 25 gifts or selections, please allow 5-7 business days for processing. For larger Orders, please contact us directly by phone or fax in order that we may accommodate your needs.
Corporate Gifts - Early Ordering Advice
Austinuts processes a high volume of Corporate gifts throughout the year, but experiences a higher than normal number of Orders during the Holiday Season. Corporate Orders placed by October 15 will receive priority attention, such as guaranteed shipment dates. Further, Orders placed by this time will enable our trained staff additional time to work with you in developing unique gifts, such as one-of-a-kind baskets or gift containers, printed ribbons, private or customized labels, and specialty gourmet foods that are not available during the rest of the year. Sales Tax
Because Austinuts Inc is located in Austin, Texas, Texas State Law
governs the collection of Sales Tax for all orders. Accordingly, shipments
within Texas are subject to a Sales Tax of 8.25%, if applicable. Shipments
to all destinations outside Texas are not subject to Sales Tax. In
Texas, some food products are subjects to sales tax, while others are
not. For example, nuts, dried fruits and trail mixes are not subject
to sales tax. In contrast, candy, chocolate covered fruits and nuts,
and candied nuts are subject to sales tax.
Special Orders
Many of our customers like to take advantage of our ability to customize
products and gift baskets. For example, some customers request unique
gourmet products, ask for special nut mixes or flavored nuts, or wish
to include Corporate Promotional merchandise, such as coffee mugs,
pens, etc, in their baskets. All such Special Orders must be placed
in person at our Austin store, or via fax, phone, or email (see above
section How To Contact Us). The web shop may not be used for placement
of Special Orders!
Our highly experienced customer service staff is always eager to help
you with all your special needs and requests, but because fulfilling
such requests often take extra time and effort; we encourage you to
